When my friend Alicia announced she was expecting, I instantly knew I wanted to be the one to capture her maternity photos. We waited a couple more months for that beautiful baby bump to grow, and the day of the shoot finally arrived. Alicia wanted the Session at Powers Farm Randolph MA.

While the weather earlier in the day was absolutely beautiful as the evening approached and the wind chill set it got really cold really fast and as typical of Spring you dress for the warm so when it turns cold it can be very uncomfortable. Nonetheless we toughed it out and made it a quick session. However soon to be big sister wasn't having it lucky for us I had an 2 assistants with me and we had brought a blanket so she got to snuggle up and stay warm. On the other hand we had overcast skies, which made for absolutely beautiful, soft light for their photo shoot. They are a really fun couple to spend the afternoon with, and we had a blast capturing this amazing time in their lives. 

Bringing a baby into the world is a wonderful life event that should be captured with a Maternity Portrait Session. It’s a time you are going to want to remember and share with your little one once they are a bit older as well as documenting your family as it stands before the new addition arrives. 

Best time to Schedule your maternity session is between 31 and 36 weeks as your tummy should have popped and have a beautiful shape, the discomfort and bloating that happens earlier in the pregnancy is gone and yet the fatigue that comes in later in the pregnancy has not set in yet.

I love the outfits that they picked arent the colors just stunning, they compliment their features so well and were just perfect pop of color and dont you think the green in the dress highlighted the green in their eyes?
