We create custom ornaments using materials we pick up from the store as well as custom created ornaments from our family portraits.

We love spending time building Gingerbread houses and often compete to see who would build the most beautiful Gingerbread house.

It's a perfect way to build anticipation and create a nightly tradition of storytelling and warmth.
Here is a great earth friendly tip to help save money. We have been known to borrow books from the library for this activity, When my daughter was really young I would wrap books that she had outgrown knew that this would be the last time we read them before passing them over for a loving family.
Now that she’s older we mix up library books, with books that we recieve from the kiwi crate most of the time the books we have are short espeically when school is still in session.
